You don’t have to move mountains in order to see progress. The important thing is that you take your time and find a place for all the clutter that will be it’s home. It does no good to shift piles around in your home or in your mind. You’re just rearranging the same old mess. You have to get rid of it or find it a permanent home so that it isn’t cluttering up space (mental or physical) that would be better used another way.

Take one cluttered area at a time and deal with the things that are holding you back. It sounds like a big hassle. At first it may be. But once you’ve developed a habit of dealing with the clutter in your life it will become much easier to prevent it from taking over again.
